i have bottles of paul masson chablis and burgundy and chivas regal scotch in my basement since the 80's.

If its unopened it should be fine.
Unless the cork has become dry and air has gotten into it.

Bottles should be stored sideways to keep the cork moist.

If the cork dries it shrinks allowing air to get in the bottle causing the wine to become rancid and taste of vinegar.

They're good pretty much forever. They get better with age, too. If you leave them for another 10 years or so, they may be worth some money.

Contact a liquor store near you and ask them what they're worth.

It has just aged longer and increased the quality and value, you can sell, people will buy. Also, unopened opened, doesn't matter as long as it was closed... don't want critters utilizing your wet bar.

O' my god you lucky old dog. I don't think scotch gets beter in such a small time frame but it will still be good.

check to make sure that they are stored safely.. no licks or anything.... if they are not opened then it there fine... liquor usually gets better and stronger when they age...
