Romantic would be doing it after the first date, but it's very nice and sweet to do it on the first date. I think I would like it better if it was during the first date or afterwards cause then I know he got me the flowers because he likes me. I wouldnt want to get them before the date (if I didnt previously know the guy and hung out with him) because then all the flowers are saying is, "I hope this is helping me score"

It is good to bring a girl flowers at any time. and very romantic
holidays , birthdays, but don't make a habit of any of them so they are not expected.. do it when you feel you want to.. that makes it more special when they aren't expecting it..
bringing flowers when you have done something wrong don't help so leave that one out..
You are a good person to think about this and a first date flowers would be great.. make it a one stem rose or something very simple..good luck and have a wonderful life.

Yes, it is the first impression but in a way the girl expects a flower and the surprise is not so big. But if you don't give her a flower, she will be disappointed in her mind a little bit. But the most beautiful flower is the flower offered with no occasion (just because is thursday)

I think it's very romantic and sweet and such a lovely gesture. I think it really helps to make a girl feel extra
"special and appreciated".
Any flowers will do(as long as they are in season) and you don't need to go to too much expense.

It's nice but the first thing I think of is, "oh great this guy is trying to hard." I'd save flowers for the 3rd date. But even then, bring her something totally out of the ordinary.

yes, just bring a single of her faveroye flowers, try not to do a rose on the first date though, thats more of a seriouse relationship kinda flower. =) good luck!

a small bunch of flowers is nice. Big expensive bunchs or a dozen roses feels manipulative. My husband used to bring me beautiful flowering plants.... and all these years later, they, like us, are still going strong.
