Yep, the TV is a neutral device just wires, plastic, and metal parts, it seems to be used for good and evil.
But I must admit, since we've given up TV in our house (so we could afford to make payments on a home rather than rent an apartment) I feel a lot better about myself. I don't really miss it at all. - go figure.

Satan was put down in the time of Christ's incarnation on Earth and has no power to influence us.
TV is, on the whole, a negative influence when it becomes an alternative to thinking, and presents bad role-models and glorifies violence and unhealthy lifestyles.

Only oneness pentecostals (Jesus only Churches; Jesus only people) believe that watching television IS without a doubt a sin.
Onesness pentecostals also believe that if one does not speak in tongues, they are not saved and thus they WILL go to hell.
I respect there beliefs, though I do not believe them.

Not really, although I could see how you might think it is Satan. It's really a reflection of our society. It shows, in an interesting way, what happens to humanity in its fallen nature. It's really very sad.

I guess it depends on what you're watching. If you're watching young adult women revealing themselves to men, you know that shaitan will lure you to watch it. I think if you stick to something that's good to watch, like the news or maybe even cartoons, then I don't think it's satan in disguise.

be careful where you buy your TV sets.
I think your right, unless of course your friend has been visited by a television but even the thought of it spooks me out.

Television is no better or worse than the marketplace allows it to be... If thy television offends thee, throw it out.

No, there is great stuff on TV. And the bad stuff is the programmers' responsibility. Not satan's...
