The p**pey diaper game. Take bite sized chocolate candy bars, melt them in the microwave in a newborn sized diapers. Code the diapers so you know what goes with what. At the shower, pass them around and have the guests guess the candy bar.... It's too funny when they taste the 'sample'...

There are quite a few games that I always loved to play. One game is where you put a small diaper made from a piece of white felt and you put a dap of peanut butter on one of them and then you make one for each person attending, but only one will have the peanut butter and at the end of the party you ask everyone to take their diaper pins off and see who has the poopy diaper, and that person wins a prize. The second game is you get about 20 different baby items such as a diaper, pin, burp cloth, pacifier, any different item as long as there are no two alike, and you put them on a tray and cover it up with a towel, you than tell the people to look at what is on the tray for about 30 seconds, than you cover it back up and tell them ok does everyone have a pen and paper you must now try to remember everything that was on the tray and whoever has the most correct items wins the prize. And my last game that I like is the scramble word game. You take like 20 different baby words like blanket and scramble it up so it would look like this anbltek, and who ever gets the most words right wins the prize, oh yeah one more game that is fun. You have 2 pie tins with two dice in each pan, you must have 10 or more wrapped gift items and when some one rolls a double they get to take a present and you play for maybe 5-10minutes, and once all the gifts are gone, they may steal from each other, but if some one has only one gift they can't steel from that person until they have at least 2 gifts. And at the 2 minute warning you stop the clock and let everyone open their gifts, and play for 2 more minutes and people can steal once again.

Although this one may be gross for some people. I thought it was HILARIOUS! I was watching "The Girls Next Door" the other day, you know, the Playboy show with Hugh Hefner's 3 girlfriends? Well, anyway, one of them was planning a baby shower for a friend and they played a game where the hostess gets baby diapers and puts a different melted candy bar in each one and you have to pass them around and smell and/or taste each one and write down what candy bar you think it is. It was SOOOOOO funny watching them....it really looks disgusting in the diaper. I think it would be fun though.
Also, when I had my daughter, we played a game called the clothespin game. At the beginning of the shower, everyone gets a clothespin. Whenever you catch someone saying the word "BABY", you get to take their clothespin. Whoever has the most at the end of the shower, wins the prize.

As sticky as this sounds it was very cute and fun.

I had a co-ed shower -
Each person was given a piece of bubble gum and a sticky/post it note. They were to chew the gum and shape a baby out of it.

I could not believe what people came up with and how cute/detailed they were! Everyone laughed so hard! And it wasn't messy at all! Everyone put their creation on the table and my husband and I picked 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners and the guests came forward as we chose their baby!

P.S. A lot of woman don't like the string/toilet paper around the belly. By the time showers roll around you feel huge and the last thing you want is poeple guessing how 'fat' you are. Personally I didn't mind - you just have to know the mommy to be to know if she would be okay with it.

Have fun!

I think guessing the belly size with string or something or seeing who can drink the juice the fastest out of a baby bottle it is hilarious to watch I did that for my sister baby shower, everyone loved it. Make sure if you do the bottle game you have people volunteer on their own but not tell them what for cause if you choose someone they might not like playing those games and refuse.

I recently threw a shower for my friend and we played the dirty diaper game, which I see some of the other posters have suggested. We also did a word scramble using all words pertaining to baby things of course. We also played the baby animal game. You put the names of the adult animals on a sheet for everyone and then they have to put the names of the babies for each one. Not as easy as it sounds! Did you know that a baby fish is called a fry? Check on-line, I got a lot of ideas from different websites.

If you MUST do a game, consider shower bingo.

Give guests a blank bingo card and a pen or pencil. They fill the card with typical items given at showers (like onesies, blankies, bottles, etc.) and they have to be as specific as possible. (In other words, "toys" won't cut it. But something like "rattle" will.) Every gift that's unwrapped, people check their bingo cards and mark it off if they have it on their card. First one to make a row calls "Bingo!" and they win a small prize.

We played one at my niece's baby shower just recently that was kind of fun.

Hang a clothesline and get a bucket of clothespins and baby/doll clothes.

Give each "contestant" a baby to hold and phone to tuck under her chin.

Give each person one minute.

The one who can pin the most clothes onto the clothesline while holding the phone under her chin wins!
