Do a search for DVD Shrink. I use that program ALOT and it is really easy! Save the DVD Files from DVD Shrink to your hard drive then, use your burning program to copy the files from the hard drive to your DVD-RW drive.

DVD shrink and DVD Decryptor alone will not remove the more recent movies copy protection, such as ARccOS and RipGuard DVD. Using those in combonation with RipIt4Me will though.

its not free, but there's a program called 1click dvd that's pretty good. Not sure how it works on copyrighted stuff since what I was copying was home made.

Backing up your personal DVD collection is not illegal. I would recommend DVDShrink. It's excellent, but you will need a burning application to work in conjunction with it, such as Nero.
