It could be a spider bite, and you may be allergic to them. You might want to get it checked by a doc if it's still tender after a week or you have anyother problems with that area. Do you have dogs or cats? It could have been a flea or even a tick.

Try putting a salve on it to draw out the poison, if there is any. Keep a cool compress on it to help with the swelling. If it isn't better in a few more days see a doctor. I had that happen to me a few weeks ago. It turned out to be this puss filled thing of some sort that was on the inside of the inside of my outer ear (hard to explain.). Anyway after about three days it started leaking fluid and was gone after a week.

I would still get that checked out. Some bites can cause tissue damage even if the swelling has gone down. You don't want to end up losing part of your neck.

I am sorry for your discomfort. I think it will be okay since its improving now, but if its still tender perhaps having your doctor look at it would be a good idea just to make sure you do not have an infection.

It may have been a spider but you should see a doctor, were you at home, did you find anything.

If you were not at home you may have been bitten by a bed bug some people are allergic and swell up. Get checked.

Have a doctor look at it. It could be a spider bite and you may be having a reaction to it.

Its best to get it checked out now and find out its nothing then to wait and its something bad and you waited and made it worse. You could lose your testicle. Esp if it hurts bad. It could be a twisted nut!
