If she's 15 and he's 34 YES! If she's 17 and he's 36 YES even if she's 18 and he's 37 again probably, it all depends on how mature these persons are but if she's 28, 29 and he's 47, 48 things start to change a bit, there is 11 years between my husband and I and we're happy most always! I have dated older men then he and it just didn't work on three different occasions...
Good luck!

It's tough to have a relationship when one she is reaching sexual peak and he is reaching retirement age, but Hugh Heffner has proven that it can be done.

On the other hand, if she is older, it's equally difficult to have a relationship. The mther figure issues come into play. The man's inmaturity, aand of course, the nagging feeling that he may just be with you for different reasons also stand out.

But, no. It's not too big an age difference.

I don't think we should allow society to dictate age restrictions in relationships. There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

If you can keep up with the person,19 years later. Think about this 19 -39 39-59 59-79 When you reach 59 and your mate is 39 you will have to keep up with he/she or that person MIGHT go looking somewhere else.

yes it is. i know that they say that age is nothing but a number, but it isnt true, age difference can cause a lot of problems. im not saying you guys cant be in love but there will be problems. maybe it can work out if u guys are in the same page and like to do a lot of the same stuff. For example my sister is 19 and her boyfriend is 26.....she just wants to have fun right now and go out with her frineds, while he is ready to get married and settle down (he already went threw his party stage).....there still together and i believe their in love, but they are not on the same page!!

My rule is never date someone that wasnt born when you where 18 years of age or viseversa. And just think about when you get old One of you are gonna be really rinkly while the other wont. Besides people with such different age gap tend to be at different times in their lives.

I would want someone that I can grow old with. (I would hate to grow old alone).

As long as both people in the relationship are both adults then it is fine. My husband and I are 13 years age difference and we have no problems.

Rule of thumb on the age range for anyone over 18:

Take your age, divide it by 2. Add 7. Anyone younger than that is too young for you.

For example, I'm 30 (30/2)+7=22... A 21 yo is too young.

Depends on the two people. There is 20 years difference in our marriage. I would not change a thing, she is the love of my life.
