I like your way of thinking. When I learn of a controversy surrounding a movie, book, or the like, I am that much more determined to learn all that I can about it. If something is declared evil, then I would agree that one should examine it closely, rather than taking another's word.

I'm generally a fan of knowledge, and if someone says something is evil, it's probably at least interesting I guess. I've never heard anyone say paint drying is evil. But maybe I just don't get out enough =)
On the other hand, I just recently read something about Albert Fish. Evil. And no, I don't wish to know anything more about him.

Well, historically, haven't things that are some of the best advancements in science, technology and society been things denounced as evil. They don't want people to notice these things because these items usually have the ability to dramatically change how one views their surroundings.

That's how things become really popular, by some do-gooder tellling people it's evil. They don't realize it has the opposite effect than what they want. It makes most people curious and they want to know more about it.

It depends what it is, and how you go about learning more about it. Many things (drug addictions, teenage pregnancy, etc) I'd prefer to learn about through books and other's experiences, rather than experiencing them myself.

Hi - It might be worth considering but I would be very skeptical unless they can prove their case.
