I imagin this happend quite often,but only for men and women who are stupid and vunderable enough to atrat an affAIR IN THE FIRST PLACE..it does not just affect them..back at home there willbe some loving trusting wife who,s life will be compleatly ruined by these illicit affairs..men with self inflated ego,s do this.

I've done it a few times with no bad affect to my career. In one case, she was transfered out of the office after three months of torid sex, and with another woman, once the project was finished I was out of there anyway and moved on to an even better job. So the key is to move on (you or her) and to always have other options. Then have fun - she can't ruin your career.
