This is a proof that there will be true prophets after him, since he didn't claim to be the last prophet... He instead told people how to differentiate between true and false by their fruits.

No. But there are qualifications for a modern prophet.

A Prophet must Speak in the Name of God

The Message Must Conform to the Revelation Which Has Gone Before

A Prophet's Prediction Must Be Verifiable.

Jesus is not the last prophet, He is the Son of God. He also is God in the Flesh as stated in John 1:1 IN the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. and John1:14 and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory ...
He is so much more than a prophet. He is the only way to salvation and the only way back to the Father. If you are a Christian, then when God looks at you He sees you as righteous because Jesus is righteous.

NO, we have prophets today, Read Ephesians 4:11-15 & I knew of a Prophet in the 1950's to 1960's that God used & with God using that vessel that man could tell you who you are, what you ate for breakfast the week before even to how the table was set, To even having cancer tumors falling off people as soon as he prayed for them, Of course he is dead now, But that does not do away with Eph.4:11-15 & other scriptures I have.

Prophet as in emissary from God, yes, Prophet as in someone that uses the word of the Lord for their own gain - unfortunately not.

No, He wasn't. As others have mentioned, there was Peter, and John the Beloved, and there have been many others. And as others have also mentioned, He was much more than just a Prophet, although He was that too.

We have a Prophet on the earth today. His name is Gordon B. Hinckley.

If by that question you mean is he the last to utter prophesy, we know that last major prophesy recorded in the Bible is the book of Revelation. It was penned by John an apostle of Jesus. It foretells events of our day and up to and beyond 1000 years into the future.

The christian churches make a "profit" off of Jesus by selling the christians a line of fake religion. Just like the muslim imans make a "profit" off the Prophet and everyother crack pot religious guru that want to get paid for giving you the "Truth".

The "Truth" is free, any spiritual leader that wants a handout for what they want to do for you is a fraud.

Now that I think of it, I don't think there is a reason why there wouldn't be any. I seriously am not too sure if there is scripture saying that there were going to be more after Jesus' Death on the cross. I never really thought about it...

I think that there is scripture in the Bibole that states that people will dream and see things of the future. (I'm not concluding that one, I'm not too sure)

If any one has info, please Email me!! (Use sources please, thx!)
