Its called ignition noise. Somewhere along your ingition train, theres electricity working at the same frequency as your stereo, and therefore it picks it up like a radio station. Theres a capacitor or something ou can buy and easily install either on your igntion system or your stereo.

Its faint so its of no consequence but it wont go away and will only get worse over many miles. Thousands of. It could be what motorcyclists used to call 'piston slap' but i'm fairly sure its the tappets. As the engine warms and expands things settle down. Fiestas up to around 2000 were notoriously noisy on this. Do you drive with the radio on? The reason i ask is that they may have rattled for months without you noticing! Check with the last garage what grade of oil they used - it may be thinner multgrade (5w40) so it will be more rattley on start up. What the hell is ebay on about? Don't worry.

They call this road noise. You can get a kit for it... It's through your ground wire if you have an amp hooked to it. If not then I don't know anyother reasons... I know if you have subwoofers hooked to an amp they usually do that.

All of your car audio wiring is copper, copper is a great conductor. Its picking up signals from your vehicle. You need better shielding on your wiring.
