I see your logic, an av1, av2 etc channel is for an input- ie ps2 dvd, or another tv, the signal is sent from a 'scart out'. The thing is this will only work if the tv sending the signal has a 'scart out', im quite sure that not all do. There must be a predefined 'in' or out 'out' or a piece of equipment of any kind would not know whether it was sending or receiving

All new television contraptions bought in the united kingdom could desire to have digital Freeview tuners risk-free. If the set which you're paying for does not incorporate a Freeview tuner then it somewhat is the two an rather previous inventory or a dodgy import. All television contraptions bought in the ecu when you consider that a minimum of 1980 could desire to have a minimum of one SCART socket. this is an ecu interoperability requirement. you will additionally discover that DVD gamers and video tape recorders even have SCART sockets. The Sky container is meant to be linked by way of SCART despite if it additionally sends its output as an analogue sign by way of the aerial lead on channel 36 or 38. connect the television set and Sky container regularly then song the Sky container to a channel that doesn't exist on the Freeview (e.g. Paramount Comedy channel on Sky 128). choose "analogue" on the television distant. Get the television to do an "automobile song" such as you're able to while this is first set up. the television will discover the channels BBC1, BBC2, ITV1 and Ch4 and this is going to additionally discover the channel that the Sky container is "transmitting" on. Now you have a ability of choosing the Sky container (by way of the television set's analogue tuner) it somewhat is independant of the SCART connector. this is smart while you're wanting SCARTs and decide to conenct a DVD participant to the television. it is likewise a competent thank you to have the skill to apply a Sky container on an rather previous pre-1975 television set which would possibly no longer have SCART.

Hey there, someone the same as me!

I have linked up four TVs to two DVD players, cable television, and free-view box. Also run two video recorders and hi-fi systems into the system.

Down to trial and error to get the system working.

Ensure you use scart leads with all twenty pins in place, not the cheaper ones that only have three or four pins.

It can be complicated, but I'm sure you will sort it out.

Good luck!

No, as the tv does not have any output channels, only input ones. You can only send signals to display into a tv and not back out again. try getting a splitter if you really want to see the same image 3 times =S
