i'm so sorry that happened to you, but look at it this way. he did you a favor. guys can say i love you all day and not mean it. but there's a certain look that he gives you when he really means it. it's hard to explain, kind of like an "i can't go on without you" kind of look. i've really been given the "look" by only one guy, and i still love him to this day. but try not worrying about it. you'll be better off without that loser! just next time someone says "i love you" make sure that they show it.

This is a pretty vague question. How long were you two together? How many relationships have you both had? My guess would be that he does have feelings for you but he is confused and maybe even afraid of the responsibility of a relationship. Love is never easy but takes patience and belief.

Well if he loved you he would of never broke up with you. but because he did that is just a guy for you it happen to me to then he asked me back out the next day I told him ya if I loved you. But because I don't love you F*ck that sh*t

If he's saying it when he's trying to get in your pants he doesn't mean it. Guys will say anything to have sex with you.
If he says it without expecting anything in return he probably means it. Look in his eyes when he professes his love and you will be able to tell. Also the way he treats you and cares for you everyday will let you know if he is sincere.

He couldn't have loved you if he hurt you like that. You can tell if a guy is sincere when he says that he loves you-by the actions that follow those words.

Sounds like he likes playing with people's emotions because he's clueless about what love means. Or, he's a big fat liar who wants to keep you on hold while he roams around looking for other girls.
