NO. I've used both in several occassions and it never made me pee a lot. Maybe you've other infection (uti?) that's causing it.

You should probably drink more water when taking antibiotics, antibiotics can sometimes cause constipation. Flagyl might change the color of your pee, but pee more....probably due another reason.

IVe been taking it a few days and I've had to pee A LOT

One of the less common adverse effects of Flagyl (metronidazole) is polyuria (frequent urination). Other less common urinary adverse effects are darkened urine and difficulty urinating. So you are most likely experiencing a less common adverse effect. You must be special ;) Increase your fluid intake.

i'm taking it now for amoebic dysentery and it does not make me pee. regardless of if, it tastes bitter and each little thing I consume or drink tastes bitter, even water. Incidently, the pharmacist informed me to no longer drink any alcohol whilst taking this drugs.
