Every single society that has rejected war as a necessity of life has been exterminated to the last man, woman and child, without exception. Rejecting war is not what you think it is. It is not a purging of evil from your heart in the pursuit of higher values. It is a cowardly refusal to fight evil. It is actually a surrender to evil. i think if we blunt our swords it will make for a far nastier battle as we will then have to hit far harder to inflict damage. but when we do, it will be much worse than a sharp blade as it will tear instead of cut so the wound will be much harder to close and will bleed harder.
