I know its a waste of 5 points to ask this question. I cant help but to wonder, did you get kicked out of the military?? Is that why you consistantly try to put the US military down??

oh don't get me started on erudite. he has numerous names he posts on and i have also asked questions about him and alot of people feel the same way you do. i have rec a few emails from him which are nothing like what he writes on here. i reported him so many times that yahoo probably got annoyed and finally answered me and reported him. he's anti american and i made that clear when i reported him like 7 times. he uses a few different names, i forgot his previos name but he was reported so much that he had to change names. he claims he was in the air force in the mid 60's, from what he told me and what was in his profile, but i really doubt he ever was. no one who was in the military can hate it and their country that much, unless like some people said he tried for like the marines and couldn't get in, or he was screwed over somehow. like one of the responders said he probably gets paid to do this, or he just does it to get everyone all riled up. i haven't seen him on here in a few days though. he sux so do all the people like him. i no he has the right to say that crap, but also seeing as i want to join the military, its just sad that i will be defending his right to say that. not to mention all those who have given their lives in the past and currently for his right to say what he says. sorry about ranting, i rpobably made no sense.

It is a waste of points. I wasted 5 points on him a couple of weeks ago. However, it was reassuring to know that just about everyone felt the same way that I do.

I don't know if he actually served. He sure doesn't act like it. If he did, he was yellow and probably got kicked out. We've been in 18 years and don't know anyone prior military that acts that way. They still have some sort of care and compassion for their friends and anyone who joins. This man is cruel and hateful. He uses the dead to promote his cause. He laughs at and makes the Marines out to be idiots. I think he's jealous because he couldn't make it as one.

I also think it's possible that he's a Yahoo employee. I know people on here who've had questions removed and even been suspended for doing alot less than erudite does. He changes copyright articles and Yahoo does nothing. He posts the same questions over and over and doesn't get them removed for spam. There's so many other things, yet nothing happens to him. I'm almost certain he's paid to do this.

All I can say is, he needs to seek professional help if this is how he really is. He's full of hate. He's a habitual liar. He also spends way too much time watching CNN and hanging out at the Big Boy. I think he needs to find a life other than harassing people on the internet. We all know he's too scared to say any of this face to face with anyone. That's why he hides behind his pc.

All we can do is put up the good fight. We need to keep exposing his lies. Report him when the need is there. Personally, I remind myself that my husband ensures his freedom and right to be an idiot.

He never answers why he despises the Military so much. He says he served and got out on a honorable discharge, so I figure he is either lying about it, or the time he claims he was in Vietnam did some serious damage to him, and I'm not being sarcastic when I say that.
He obviously is against the war in Iraq, which he is entitled to feel that way if he wants, but he seems to blame the Armed Forces for it. If he served in the Military, you would think he would understand that our men and women in the service have no choice but to go and fight in this war. We all know that they signed up for the Military and it was voluntarily, but they now have to honor their commitment, no matter what their view is on the war. I think it pisses him off that many of our service members agree with the war, and are proud of their service in Iraq. He also has convinced himself that those of us that don't agree with him will, as he has said God knows how many times, "Hang our heads in shame."
When I first started seeing his comments, I took it personal because I'm a Military wife, but now it's his lack of respect for our soldier's who have been injured or died, and their loved ones who are left to carry on, that I find so repulsive. He has said some pretty outrageous stuff concerning these people, and I hate to think how many people who have had a loved one die (Or injured) in Iraq have come across his disrespectful words. It's horrible.
He will continue to spread his hatefulness. He has no conscious! He will also continue to lie and rewrite news articles to fit his beliefs. He's just evil, and sadly there isn't a lot we can do about it.

I guess I'm special since I received two emails from him. Frankly I was surprised (1) that he emailed me and (2) the content wasn't anything like his "questions".

I guess I don't know "Erodite" and his attitude.

There are some disgruntled ex-vets though.
