I think you're absolutely right that a one piece would be more appropriate. I'm not a prude either, but there are times when you want to be a little more covered up. If you have a Wal Mart, or a H & M near you, they both have swimsuits for around $25. If that's not possible right now, then why not wear some shorts over the bottoms, or a tank over the top while you're not actually in the water? That might be a better option. :D

Brother's are like that, trust me. I think when they become "big brothers", it's in their contract to be jerks!
