After I gave birth to my son, I developed a stye in about 4 days it went away then another one appeared then it went away, this happened about 4 times with my left eye and then finally stopped. But now 2 months later, I've gotten another one and this one seems to be worse than the others, I went to the doctor and he gave me some Erythromycin Ophithal Ointment, I've been taking it for 3 days now and the Stye seems to be getting worse. What should I do? My friend told me to pull out any hairs stuck in the stye and I have but it's still seems to worsen. I've also used hot compresses and nothing seems to work, help!

A stye is very basically an infection of the hair duct. You must be run down (have a low immune system at the moment). Which is natural if you have a baby to look after. The only sensible thing to do is go back to the doctor and it would help to have vit C and zinc, either as tablets or as food (sea food for zinc and All fruits have vit C in)

When I get them, I use the hot compresses too. I don't get them on the eye lid, but under the eyelid so it feels like there is a rock on my eyeball. I also use the Visine Allergy eye drops. I boil water, let the water cool down, but not get cold. Get cotton balls and clean my eye from out to in. I use one cotton ball per 'wash or wipe down' of the eye. The sterilized water and the medicine should help.

You NEED the doctor's advise. The hair thing is an ole wive's tale.

This is very important, please contact your doctor.

good luck
