Sudafed decongestion tablets & Olbus Oil

Before trying either of the first two remedies, why not get a bowl of very hot water with a few drops of nasal decongestant stirred in? Get a thick towel, bend over the basin of water, cover your head and the bowl with the towel and inhale until your sinuses feel a little clearer and less painful. Repeat as necessary, but if symptoms persist, please see you Doctor.
Best wishes.

I will leave the above answer for humans, in case needed!

OK. Take your cat to the vet and ask for advice there.

Treating chronic sinusitis
Some GPs recommend gently flushing out the nose, using a syringe and a glass of warm water with a teaspoon of salt added. This can dislodge some mucus in the nose and sinuses, and bring some relief. An alternative is to use pre-filled squeeze bottles, which are available from pharmacies.3

Nasal sprays containing steroids such as beclometasone (eg Beconase) are available over-the-counter and on prescription from your GP. They can help to reduce swelling of the nasal lining and open up the drainage holes.

If your chronic sinusitis is caused by an allergy, nasal sprays can also reduce inflammation. Antihistamine tablets such as loratidine (eg Clarityn), which you can buy without a prescription, may also help. In severe cases, your GP may recommend a short course of steroid tablets but these are only available on prescription

Try L-Lysine. It is an amino acid you can find anywhere that sells vitamins or supplements. Crush one 500 mg tablet into her food daily. I found a very sick kitty that got no better on 5 rounds of antibiotics. The vet said as a last resort to try L-Lysine. It worked! My sick little guy is now a healthy 3 year old!

A vet I know has said it is ok to rub some Vicks vapour rub on little kittys chest, also, run a bath or have a shower, and keep kitty in the bathroom while you do it. The steam might help clear kitties chest. Good luck!
