The term "5-O" came from the old T.V. cop show "Hawaii 5-O", taking that one step further...the name for the show came from Hawaii being the 50th state.

It was the show Hawaii-five-o. It was a very hip series and not from the sixties I remember watching it in the seventies thank you all so much lol
