Some ideas:

1. Free shipping for orders above $75 or $100 (or whatever amount you want)
2. For knives, put a Chef's Selection to showcase your best knives for cooking
3. Free gift with every order
4. Clear categorization of your products (Shop by Type). In the Swords section, list down the categories you have such as medieval swords, samurai swords or whatever product categories you have. Also provide category of Shop by Brand
5. Showcase a product per product category. In the Multitool section, have a featured product. Also in Knives. And swords
6. Have a section Closeouts or Discounted Pricing to attract bargain hunters
7. Be sure to have certifications such as Hacker Safe or Thawte or Verisign or BBB to make buyers feel more secure
8. Have a toll free number that is prominently placed above the fold
9. Make your call to purchase signs such as your Buy It Now button big, bold and red (see stores such as Target.com)
10. Do something like a Weekly Web Specials to attract return buyers

Turn your thinking around and decide who would want to buy your products and how they would use them.

Then market each item to a specific person - not a mythical "average" consumer. They don't exist.
