Major combat is over in May 03. ( According to Bush) Marines have nothing to worry about. War is over.

You should be worried, but you're not. It's a farce that you even mention him now. All you're doing is using him to support your cause. You don't really care about him or the career choice he's made. You've made that clear in other questions you've asked. You've even gone as far as to point out that you laugh at him, as you often do other Marines....especially Marines that die.

The war is over. Now we're trying to maintain peace and rebuild the country. Is it safe?? No, not by any means. That takes alot of time and effort. However, the people like you would rather cut and run and then go hide. Thank goodness the country isn't run by you or those like you.

Again another silly quesiton from a guy claiming to be erudite. Any time anyone is in a war torn country. Major combat over or not you would be silly not to worry. After the US civil war was over Union soldiers were still sniped for a few years! Allied soldiers in occupied Germany after WWII still recieved sniper fire. If you are just trying to be a smartass in an attempt to make President Bush look bad ..... You should re-read some of the answers to all of your other questions/political statements. He may look bad but you look unerudite. Yes i know its a made up word but it fits.

Well yes but probably no more than you would worry about him if he were here doing all the normal things that young people do. He is a trained Marine and as much as I am against Bush's war I do believe that trained soldiers have the skills necessary to keep them as safe as possible in their circumstances. I'd worry more if he were an uneducated, unemployed gang member.

Best of luck and hopefully he will be stateside soon and in one piece.

If you have a nephew you should be worried. Some day he's going to read your questions and you may not want to be in the room when that happens.
