I’m using my sister’s account since mine is down. Hey, I have a 3 year old ( adopted) son ( since I can’t have any of my own). His name is Carson. I’ve always like Carrie & Carly. I am adopting new born twin girls and I am thinking about naming them Carrie and Carly. Would that be weird? Carly and Carson? And Carrie? So close and all C’s? I do not intend on doing all C names but I do like the name Camryn not sure if I would use it or not. So would that be weird? – Alicia

No - still nice normal names that they could be addressed by in a job interview.

Not weird, alot of people do that. I know a lady who had eight kids and all of their names begin with A's. Anyways, I like Carly and Camryn. You don't want the names to sound too much alike like Carrie and Carly. I really like the name Camryn too.

I think Carrie and Carson are fine...the beginnings sound different when you say them...Care-y, and Car-son. Carly and Carson are too close for my liking, personally, but, hey, do what you want. Camryn is different enough from all three that no one would blink at that one.
My personal opinion:
Carrie, yes
Camryn, yes
Carly, no

I would suggest giving them different names with different starting letters. Carson, Carrie, and Carly, all have the same root word "Car," and if you think about it, its too close. Besides, what if one of their friends nickname them "Car," but then the other siblings thought they were talking to them instead. I don't know, it just seems like there would be mass confusion. Camryn is better than Carrie and Carly, but I would suggest you spell it like it normally is, i.e. Cameron. I don't mean to be offending, but spelling it differently doesn't make them special, in fact, I've always diskliked people who thought they were cool because their name was spelled differently.

Hey, Congratulations on the new twin girls. I think its fine to have all the kids with a name that starts with C. But maybe to have ALL 3 names that start with *CAR...* is a little too much. Why not use Camryn? I think it's cute. But anyway, do what you want and don't worry about what others think.

You certainly are going to be a BUSY BUSY BUSY mom! 3 times over! Especially with twin girls!

i personally dont like the name Carly. I like Carson and Carrie. But they are your kids, name them what you want. i think all of the Cs may get a little confusing.

Not weird, but maybe problematic when you try to call them. They sound too similar. Especially if they are young and just learning to talk. You're likely to end up giving them nicknames just so there's not so much of a mix up. Probably better to try other names that start with c like Camryn.

I like Carrie and Carly. It is cute and not too confusing. They go well with Carson, too!

Congrats on the twin girls, I wish you and your family much happiness. :)

They are your children, and it doesn't matter if anyone else likes their names or if they sound weird, which they don't!!!! I have a friend whose whole family starts with C's!!! And they did it on purpose!! It allows your family to connect in a special way all it's own, more power to ya!!!You may also want to look up C names in the baby name book and find out their meanings, that may help you make your final choice. But stick with the all C's it's cute!!!

It would not be weird to use all with 'C's'. but i think carrie and carly sounds too close, somehow. and i'm afraid carly is a name common for teasing, like it could be linked with curly or whatever. you know, a name is almost for life. i suggest these names that begin with C's :-
- charlotte
-cheyenne
-claire
-charis
-celeste
-clarisse
-chelsea.

I liked camryn too. ! =D
Anyway, good luck and have fun with your kids. (:
