for going up one level in the directory, instead of using mouse to click on the folder with the arrow?

the 'Windows' keys; not many give information
on disabling the menu context key. Since I
don't know what you have tried previously, you
should have set 'Scancode Map' to:

the backspace key works to bring you up a level from the Dir that you are in.

if you mean "up" of course .. simply press "Backspace" on top of your "Enter" key right to the "=" key (if your keyboard is standard)
