reading for exams continuosly for hours and hours, especially in medical school (where i'm presently in) hurtts and it gets boring. after two hours i really dont feel like studying nothing and end up wasting over 7 hours. what should i do? i know that in med school it requires atleast 10 hours of study daily.

please help.

if it gets boring you are learning nothing.
Do study in bite size amounts it is not how much study you do it is what you get to sit in your brain.
million hours of study is futile if little is learned
Sitting for hours on end is unhealthy and unconstructive.
Set a schedule of study that is broken down so you learn rather than just read.

Hurts how? Your eyes? Maybe you should go see an optometrist. If you're just simply "bored"...well then, I guess you'll just have to suck it up and take it like a man. We all have to do things in life that we don't want to. But it's not a matter of wanting, it's a matter of taking responsibility for yourself.

Switch your assignments around. Instead of doing one straight assignment, do part of one, and then go to a different assignment. It'll keep your brain active, and will keep you interested, even if the subject isen't. Lol.
This has worked for me, and I hope it works for you in the same way.

take breaks, drink coffee,wear your glasses.
