i would not be too sure that Canadians are not going to be targeted for terrorism. the war in Afghanistan is getting pretty serious and the Taliban are the ones responsible for 9/11. looking down the channel from Kitimat there is the Alcan facility. just to the west Is the Port of Prince Rupert, second largest on the west coast of Canada. there is no security at either one of those and could be potential targets. the base in Masset has early detection technology but really no personel to speak of. Kitimat is a beautiful place and i have fished there on many occasions but targets are targets and terrorists are nuts.

Easy...because most Americans have been brainwashed into complacency by "Survivor" and SUV's. Canadians aren't quite as bad, but don't worry, folks, we'll become unwilling participants in Global Terrorism soon enough...as soon as Bush and his Military Industrial Complex puppetmasters decide that Canada isn't contributing enough to the War On Terror, then we'll be "attacked". Think Austrailia, before and after the Bali bombings...

George Washington is an significant guy in our background yet he continues to be basically one guy. There have been very few periods of time that any sane person could feel safe 24-7 since WW2. From the cold war forward, we have had the nuclear threat. Why is today any different?

I don't feel safer at all. Bush had only escalated the threat of terrorist, and then has the audacity to spend billions of dollars of taxpayers' money on a Nazi-inspired Department of Homeland Security that is perhaps the most incompetent, contemptible, repugnant, useless agency ever to part of the U.S. government (and that's saying something because 90% of the agencies in the U.S. government are incompetent, contemptible, repugnant, and a useless waste of taxpayers' dollars). -RKO-

Have you not heard of explosive trout being introduced to BC waters by terrorists. You cannot relax anywhere except Manitoba. Terrorists have not taken canoeing lessions.
