we have been friends since the first day of school. i recently found out that he is a muslim. i am a hindu. there is conflict between the two cultures.i really like him and enjoy spending time with him. he said that he likes spending time with me too. whenever i see him studying, i ask "can i do my homework with you?" he always says "youre always welcome to study with me". what do you think? does he like me? i really wanna ask him to homecoming. is it the right time to ask him?

There's nothing wrong with asking. Good luck & if he says yes I hope the two of you have fun. Far as conflict between your two cultures go - maybe you can be a modern-day Romeo & Juliet... but without the tradegy, yes?

You are in love with a perosn following too rigid culture, I don't think your life with him would be happy. They will first convert you a muslim to marry him, that will itself hert you. Go away from him, don't give any chances to get him closer to you

sure, ask him out. good for you for not letting some ridiculous religious belief keep you apart!

I suppose as long as he doesn't take you prisoner and chop your head off you'll be OK.
