I would suggest puting it in the playroom.
That way when they get older they will know the playroom is a place to go when they have been good.
And their room could be a time out place. Or just a place to sleep.
That is your decision. I hope my answer has helped you.

I would suggest for better sleeping and behaivor that you put all objects that consist with "play" go in the play room. (only when this is possible with a play room.) I have all my kids toys and tv and games in a play room (an unfinished basement) and just beds and clothes and books in the bed room. They have learned alot more this way, and often I catch them reading without me. It is great. Also I do suggest getting a tv stand that bolts to the ceiling, like in the hospital. It is great. Although they so cost about $100.00 they are worth the safety. good luck on your decision.

I'm a mom too and I think the play room is the best place for it. Right now your kids are young but you wouldn't want them holed up in their rooms when they get older and if the television is in the play room, then you can keep better track of what they are viewing.

Trying to limit your child's TV time is very imperative to there social skills. Not to much. Leaving the TV in there room, promotes easy access. Whether that be you or your significant other turning it on just to entertain them. Better it's not there. Plenty of books and play time I recommend and maybe 30 to 45 minutes daily for educated programs on TV or a kid's movie. Interaction is so much better for them especially in their early stage.

There is no reason to have a tv in their rooms at that young of an age. Why start bad habits so early in their lives?

That depends. It might be good for YOU to have a TV in the bedroom if you and your children find that it helps to settle them if they wake in the night. For all other reasons, it's a pretty BAD idea to have a TV in the bedroom at this age - they'll only watch it more (lol)

My husband does. He comes abode from artwork, eats, works slightly, then is going to mattress with the television on. Now i'm any such television junkie that I Tivo my renowned shows and watch a number of them in the lounge in the night. And while i flow to mattress, I watch some greater there (such by way of fact the 10pm information which I Tivo each night and can pass previous the activities and automobile injuries). I generally doze off "listening" to a minimum of a few thing from Comedy needed - some thing i do no longer unavoidably could be looking at. And our television has a application to coach it on and rancid on the comparable time on a daily basis, so it is going off at 2am each night - so it quite is not on all night long. Plus - the sound of the television mask the sound of my husband noisily snoring... it quite is variety of a necessity.

I would say you best bet would be to put it in the playroom, this way your children know that when they are in the bedroom it is time to relax and go to sleep/naps. I had a tv in my children's room and I would catch them watching t.v when they should have been sleeping.
