How do I make a 3D model of a room complete with furnishings?

This is a project that I need to use for a sales presentation.

You need to get a 3-D modelling package. Sketch-up/Form-Z/ Auto-CAD etc. If you've never used CAD before this won't be easy. I suggest you employ somebody to do it for you - most architecture firms have the ability. There are also lots of free-lance 3-d modellers out there - try a web search?
