St Louis, definately. I went there in August and the pollution was so bad in combination with the temperature. that my lungs could not breathe. Cabs are really expensive, but other public transportation is inadequate. A waste of time to see their tourist attractions too.

Downtown Wilmington Delaware. The city is dead after business hours - there are very few shops open and weird people around. On the weekends - it's even worst. You don't want to stray more than one block from the hotel. Even worst the hotels parking lots are usually 1 - 2 blocks away.

Las Vegas. What a weird and vapid place. Everyone there seems to be just a hollow shell - there is no culture, just mindless building for the cold hearted goal of selling junk and taking money from tourists. It really creeps me out there.

It was not a vacation I lived in East Philadelphia for about 6 months with the military and it was gross! They even had signs by the lake water "do not put open flames near water!" It was so gross you could not eat fish you caught cause they were toxic!
