If you understand God, when you read the Old Testament and know about the culture of the time, you'll see that God had no tolerance for evil and expected His ppl to be different from every other nation. Ppl who reject it bc they think God is cruel or unfair haven't done any research, bc I could probably explain almost every objection someone might have.

Do as I say not as I do. He obviously has a different definition for Moral and Good for himself than the definition we have. It really isn't any surprise that many Christians follow this line of thinking and then rationalize is with the actions of the Biblical God.

Proud to be a Heathen.

Horribly immoral. I would recommend you check out Gnostic Christianity. They are pretty accurate in their description of the Demiurge (Jehovah/Yaldaboath), and the fact that the Supreme Being is truly good, but does not interact with living humanity.

Provider, healer, Father, defender, peace, protector, righteousness, and He is always present with His children.

Same as in the New Testament.

Judeo-Christian God is very righteous. Justice was served to both the chosen race (Isrealites) and non-chosen ones.

1) That He is supremely moral;
2) That no one is capable of attaining His level of morality without a Savior;
3) That many folks failed to understand the Mosaic Covenant was a "test;"
4) Failing to understand it was a test, they also failed to see you cannot break one commandment in order to follow another. Thus, they failed God's test.
5) That God REPEATEDLY tells us that HE is the only one who can judge.

Peace.
