as a health care practitioner... I have several cases of eyecolor changing upon my patients... but they have changed eyecolor naturally in a long due process... like it changes every 15-22 years.

Well on your case... your info is not yet well detailed, though i want to tell you that... changing colors of the iris is due to gene alteration of the cells there in your iris... on other words... its because of your DNA. No answer has been found why do these cells alter their genetic make-up.

Iris also contains melanin. If the body is exposed to UV rays... melanin production increases... Your skin becomes dark, but other melanin containing parts of the body, takes time before they can produce melanin to protect the body from UV.

Whites have less melanin... Look at the hair and the skin.. So light pigment is seen.. and so are the eyes. But look at the brown and black people.. they have more melanin... Look at the hair and skin, more pigment is seen and so are the eyes.. It's really uncommon to see a black man with blue or green eyes... and a blonde with black eyes...

I also have changing colour eyes. When I was younger they were blue then they turned green when I turned about 9-10. Anyway my eyes don't have an actual colour it's a mixture or green with brown/yellow spots and a blue rim. Some days they do change to fully green or fully blue. Strange as it is I like having different eye colours.

My eyes change too!! My eyes have displayed 4 different colors; Blue (primary), Grey (when I'm sad, sick, or just generally not feeling like myself), Green (not sure what that indicates), and Brown (another I haven't interpreted yet; it's only happened once, and only for about an hour.)

Me too, a day ago I witnessed my eyes changing color from Brown to green and it made my skin look purple. When I was young they were blue. When I was in the sixth grade they were green. 7th-8th was a mixture of brown and green. Now in the 11th week of 8th they re green again but used to be Brown the 1st week of school. I don t know what s going on.

My eyes change various colors too and doctors even seen the change and said it is natural but not very common. My mother has brown and green hazel eyes where my father has blue and green hazel eyes. My mothers tends to turn green when she cries and gold when she is happy then brown and green when relaxed. My father... I really do not know the answer to that one because he died. I did see grey in some pics, blue in one, and brown in another. It varies person to person. My baby sister hers turn from brown with gold specks to green with brown outline. My older sister has blue eyes with green interior which turns to grey and blue. Me, I'm just a mix. So see, that is genetic too.

Stress and happiness change your mental state. The eyes reflect the chemical balance through melanin distribution. Use it as a sign you are straying from your purpose if the go darker...you quit listening to yourself. :)
