Ok how do I stop this guy from harassing me its been 6 months since I stoped talking to him and about 9 months since I saw him we dated for just a short time about 2 months.
He will not leave me alone for the first couple of months he harassed me non stop writing me emails,texts, calls, and trying to show up at my work and house. He finally stoped and now all of the sudden he's doing it again. He sends me emails at work and textes me. I want him to stop. I want to know how to? I dont want to go to court cause then we would be in the same room together but I want him to know Im serious and he needs to stop. Can a police officer go to his house and tell him to stop with out a court order? How do I block his emails at work?
I know this is alot but Im scared that he will try to hurt me!

A police officer is not going to go to your ex boyfriends house and tell him to stop bugging you.
Why don't you ask your supervisor how to block the e-mails. I am sure that they would help you if they knew the situation.
If he is threatening you, you can get a restraining order...it would make it illegal for him to contact you in any way, shape or form. Then, if he defies it, the police can be involved.
If you don't want to take the proper legal actions, it kind-of sucks to be you.

Well first i would try having a mature conversation with him telling him that your relationship/friendship is through. Allow him to express any old issues he may have to say and ultimately try and find closure. If you can leave him feeling like he has spoken his side but it just didn't work out with you...than hopefully he will be satified and leave you alone. It's important to ask him why he is doing the things he is doing so all the issues are dealt with. It won't be fun but it can be effective in getting him out of your life.

This is a dangerous situation, even if you get a restraining order.
He is living in his own personal dream world, and has a fantasy relationship with you---unfortunately in the real world he's capable of doing bodily harm.
He has invested time and effort in his fantasy, and it's hard to stop him now. STALKING is a crime----go to your police station and ask about what you should do, and use every legal tool you can. Keep records of every e-mail, time span, other info.

How old is this guy? Maybe call his parents? Maybe you have a LARGE friend who can give him a good talking to, if you know what I mean. You could always take some pics of yourself with another guy and send them to him, showing that you're taken. Hopefully he'll get the hint soon enough.

I know that you do not want to go to court but wih some guys that is the only thing that will stop them if this is still going on it is apparent he is not stopping and if you do not do anything about it could get much worse protect yourself

Been there done that ,,, This guy tried to kill me. call your local women's shelter... or women's center... tell them your story.. they can direct you as to per your city and the "help" you need. .. a restraining order usually helps. But the law is gettin better at helping people like us... But the court thing its not that bad..its just stressful. I have one its permanate... forever and the guy finally left me alone .. he couldnt have me .. I dated him for like less than a few weeks.that was all I needed .. .. so he tried to drive his truck through my house.. keep calling till you get help...
