As you know the McRib sandwich is seasonal at McDonalds. I have heard that even though it is one of their favorite sandwiches it can only be seasonal as to not deplete the pork supply not only in the US, but the world.

I seriously doubt that. They probably don't even use that much real meat!

No, there is plenty of pork to go around. They don't keep on their menu so that they can sell it as a special buy, as a limited time only. They probably get more sales this way, rather than having it all the time.
