How did it come about, how is it made and why do you like/ dislike it?

I am from a long line of Texas who straddle the Texas/Louisiana border. Our family dish is Red Beans and Rice, done in the TexMexCajun style of my Grannie. Whenever there is a gathering of our family you will find a huge pot of red beans with a side dish of rice and fried cornbread.

i love lechon. (pig)

lechon is our national food here in the philippines.this is my favorite food because of it is very crispy, juicy, and delicious.

you can cook lechon with just grilling it.(one whole pig)
while grilling, you must put the marinated sauce that you made.

marinate:_(mix all the ingridients)
soy sauce
garlic
salt
pepper
lemon

in our country we have this dish that is made up of pig's blood. we eat it w/ rice or steamed rice cake.
