so you are standing on the sidewalk, then comes this huge ambulance truck and knocks you on the ground unconcious with broken limbs and in the ambulance, a patient in similar conditions...

An emergency takes priority. The injured person isn't going to die without care. The one waiting may well die. They would have been going to the emergency because they were nearest, so if anything they would call another ambulance to get him. IF however they knocked someone down, they become the nearest ambulance to a life/death situation. Another ambulance would pick up on the initial emergency and the driver would possibly get a disciplinary, depending on why they ran someone down.

Well... I'd say that you should have moved when you seen the ambulence... Otherwise I'd see about them giving you a ride to the hospital...

You get hit by the ambulance. And if you live, then depending on your injuries, then you might be lucky to be alive.
