Clearly some sins are smaller than other ones. Like stealing a pen from work is a smaller sin than gunning down all your coworkers, right?

The answer to your question is No!Stealing a penny is the same sin as stealing a million dollars ---The sin is Stealing not the amount.The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
We have a wonderful and Loving God who is willing to forgive all if our sins.How far does he remove them?ans--as far as the east is from the west.Think about it if you travelled West all your life you would never reach East --but if you travelled north pretty soon you would be travelling south wouldn't you--Does God ever remember your sins?ans--not if you ask forgiveness

All sins are equal in God's sight. However, the worst sin would be denying Christ as our Savior as without Him, we cannot be forgiven for any sin.

Non-forgiveness. How many people who beat on the drum about Christ (who forgave while hanging from a wooden object) forget to forgive people who believe differently than they?

When did free choice get to be free? Opinion about a historical event is not a get-out-of-Jail free card.

i wish i had time to look up in the Bible for you its in the new testament it would explain it for you , that GOD looks at sin as sin there is no big or little its sin , andd that it is forgiveable through the shed blood of JESUS and there is only one unforgiveable sin that is blaspemy of the HOLY SPIRIT .... sorry i have to get ready to go to work can look up later

I thought that all sins were equal in God's eyes...it is only man who categorizes them and ranks them depending on severity. Certainly within the ladder of the law, some crimes are worse than others, but sins? I thought they were all equally bad.
