Why dont you get an extra ticket for something and tell him you have a ticket going to waste and would he like to come along. Then you would be able to get to know each other and he might feel more relaxed about asking you out, cause you wouldnt have offered him the ticket if you didnt like him.

Firstly you have to be sure that you want another date and not a friend. Then see if he gives any signs. If he does, it's an easy thing. If he doesn't, you have better not to tell him immediately, do it slow, this way you will be sure about your feelings, and he\ she will be prepared for it.( Just be sure that you give him enough signs. At least that is what we do here in Greece).

Be straight forward and tell him how you feel, and be sure he wants to be more than just friends as well. That could be a free ride to the booty and then that's it, if he is that type. Well just be honest and let him have time to think about it and let it marinate in his mind before you take it any farther.

Well if u ppl r friends thn i think its better to drop hints quiet often and observe the reaction on the other side. If u find d reactions to be positive u wll kno tht u r more thn jst frnds.

Take him out to lunch - something casual and just start out with something like we've been friends for x long and I want your honest opinion about maybe going a step further than friends because I feel... and go from there.... have confidence and go for it!

There usually is no good way..You just have to throw it out there and hope you don't put your foot in your mouth.

Be careful with dating at work..Its a conflict of interest and you may get yourself or him fired.

c'mon... most girls drop subtle hints you know. like moving a bit more closer, working/studying together a bit more, invite him out to celebrate a special occassions where you bring ur friends and he brings his.

then when the going gets good. speak your heart out. i'm sure he'll pull through for you.

Just keep talking to him and ask if he wants to go out sometimes, outside of work.
