In Luke 4:1-13 and Matthew 4:1-11, I am trying to understand if
Jesus was tempted to do? Did Jesus face the same temptations that you and I face (lying, stealing, pride, lust, etc.)? Could Jesus have sinned when He was tempted?

Of course he could have sinned, he was a man. The point is that he didn't sin, he chose not to, because he knew the true cost of sin.

Jesus was tempted like every human on earth. The exception was that he prevailed and was sinless. He was the prototype of human perfection. He could have abandoned the will of God because he had freewill although he was the son of God. That is what makes his sacrifice pure and holy and the ultimate embodiment of love.

you know that makes people think ya know but i believe jesus wasnt as pure as everyone else claimed he was but then again if you read in matthew it says not to preach to others and not to convert others but christians do it anyways. jesus was the son of man not the son of god even the bible states that much at least

Yes. He was a man who made the right choice. He also choose to die for us. To be despised and rejected by men--to die on a cross for the bad choices that we continue to make everyday. What an awesome Savior!!!!
