No. I don't believe it's "unChristian", at least not when it's Gods will.

If you are practicing other religions to get an OOB experience, that is definitely wrong. I'm trying to think of a Bible story about one, but I'm coming up short. The closest I can think of is Jesus' trip to conquer hell between the time he died and the time he rose from the dead. If I come up with something else, I'll let you know.
If you had an OOB experience without trying to, and someone from your church has a problem with it, it may be that you are from a church that thinks in legalistic terms rather than spiritual terms. You may want to explore other denominations or read the bible on your own (especially the gospels) to get a better understanding of the sprituality of Christ's teachings.

Does everything have to be "christian" related? If you have an out of body experience, you have one. I really don't think religion has anything to do with it. I don't seem to remember any thing in the bible about OOB's. I went to a catholic grade school for 9 years and we studied the bible every day. That's why I know it's the best book of fiction out there.

It's more occult so it's going to be considered unchristian by the christians on here most likely.

Paul said that he knew a man that did. Many scholars believe that it was Paul that had the experience.
Some believe that if you have one you need to make sure that is does not lead you down a path like David Koresh or Jim Jones.

Go for it. Not a sin. There are references to it in the Bible.

I do not think that it is unchristian at all. Maybe you have had a revelation or experienced something that God will give you more meaning for.

Yes, for it is Abomination. Jesus saith 'loath are they who forsake their holy temple (body) and seek to flee it, for they will not be welcomed into the Heavenly Paradise but will be met with Eternal Torment with no end'.
So never do it and if it happens while you're asleep you're automatically Damned for all eternity. Try really hard to never ever do it.

just consider it walking in the spirit and you should be fine. Of course be aware that if you are not in your body, then demons can take up residence while you are out and prevent your true soul from getting back in, thereby using your body to commit horrible acts for which you will be held accountable when they finally vacate your body and your soul returns. good luck with that.

As you know, God is forever watching over us, and if he didn't want you to experience that then it wouldn't have happened, perhaps he has a plan for you that deals with this?
I am a paranormal investigator yet I am a Roman Catholic, sounds ironic but then it doesn't, because to truly be safe and one with everything you must first believe and trust in God, I didn't before and it ruined me, but I do now and am loving it! :P
Please don't think I'm preaching, but if you want to talk more please message me.
