I need to lose a about 60 pounds. Anyone have a good way to jump start the process and kick my cravings for unhealthy food?

Eat smaller portions of lean proteins, fruit, vegetables, whole grains. Eat breakfast, take a mulit-vitamin, and exercise to increase your metabolism. Cardio and light weight-bearing to start. If you can afford it, join a gym and hire a personal trainer to get you started. As for cravings, Weight Watchers has some great deserts, sugar-free jello is good, and try soy-based snacks (but watch the salt and fat). Do not deny yourself a little treat once and a while. If you do, you'll fail. Finally, it's not about what you weigh, but how you feel. Forget the scale. Measure your progress by how your clothes feel and how you feel.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout to use as well.

The best diet I think is meatless.lol. But,,if you want to loose weight,,lay off the donuts & french fries.Munch on healthy stuff.Choose corn chips over potato chips.Eat fruit.Fried foods & baked goods are way fattening.Good Luck.

You only need to cut back on what you eat now and up your exercise regimen and you will be on your way to a thinner body.Its okay to eat what you crave just dont overdo it.You have to burn off more calories than you take in.

Best diet for weightloss is an apple for breakfast, one can of baked beans for lunch and another at dinner (can swap dinner for bowl of cereal). Eat them slowly so that you get the feeling of feeling full. Guaranteed to loss weight.
