You seriously need to get to an allergist. They will do tests to find out exactly what you are allergic to. Then they will give you shots once a week so that your body will adjust to those allergins. In the meantime, he will put you on perscription medication to deal with all the symptoms. With the itchy throat and the cough, it sounds to Me like you might also have asthma, which is very common for people with allergies. This is nothing to fool around with, these allergies can affect you in so many ways. Please, talk to your parents, and then a Dr. If you don't have health insurance, and can't afford it, every state has programs to assist students with medical bills. Its alot of paperwork, but worth it in the long run. Please take care of yourself.

I have delt with allergies for the last 27 years of my life. The best thing to do is to find out what your allergic to by going to an allergist in your area. They will do a scratch test that is not at all painful, it just itches for about thirty minutes and they give the results and will give you advice on how to prevent the symptoms. If you have severe allergies then they will suggest that you get immunotherapy shots. This is where they will inject allergens of what you are allergic to, this is done for the purpose of getting your body to become immune to the allergens, it will not totally take away the allergies, but it does work. It usually takes about a year for this treatment to end.

Go see an allergist! They'll be able to run tests and find out what your definite allergens are. They will also be able to prescribe a medication that will work best for you and your allergies and will possibly give you allergy injections that will help "immunize" you against those specific allergens.

You need to see an allergist once a year for repeat testing because your allergies will change from time to time and you will want to stay on top of them...

Get thee to an allergist!! Seriously.

A qualified allergist will find out which allergens are causing you to be so miserable, and then you can take steps to lower your exposure.

If the American drug Zyrtec is available, that is about the best OTC (over the counter) anti-allergy medicine that I know, and there is another medication called Singulair which can be useful as well.
