once people die, do you think god allows them to hear or see the people left here on earth? i know the answer in probably not, because in the bible it said that there would be no more suffering, and i would think that it would probably make someone sad seeing their family down on earth.....but do you think god makes exceptions? i'm 17 and my brother died one year ago. do you think god would just let me talk to him, just give me enough time just to say that i love him and miss him and that i am so so sorry? i just want to know that he can hear me when i say it. so it isn't for nothing, and i am not just talking to myself.....
do you think god could do that?.......

I know this feeling...its really hard when you feel you haven't had the chance to say goodbye. You have to believe that your brother is with God, and in knowing that he has peace and joy. I don't know if you can talk to your brother per se. But you can pray, and God will relieve you of the sorrow you feel. Maybe your brother will stand beside God as you pray and than pass on that you are missing him, and how much you love him. What I believe is that your brother more than anything wants you to know God's love and rest. Don't be sad, be joyful that your brother can be in Gods presence. Really try just entering into God's grace through prayer, pray that he comforts you and speaks to your heart, dream dreams and you will know that your brother is ok.
Try reading John 14:1-4,Psalms 121.
These are great promises...we just have to have faith.

I see by your words you are a sensitive individual and care for others. According to the Bible once we die if we are true born again believers we will immediately go to be with the Lord. If we are not believers we will go to hell only to be raised up to face the Great White Throne judgement. If your brother was a believer you will see him again in heaven. We are told we are not to try and communicate with the dead. If you are in heaven you will not be sad for any reason. God knows your heart, if you are HIs pray to Him and share your concerns with Him, He tells us " cast your cares upon Him for He cares for you". I am so sorry to hear you have lost your brother, how how tragic. There is so much pain from such a loss and I'm afraid answers from others will appear rather trite at such a time as this for you. I can only encourage you to continue to take your pain to the Lord because that's is what He calls us to do. Blessings.

I have no doubts that if you tell your brother, even now, that you love him that he will hear you and know it. And I also want you to know that right now he is trying to tell you that he loves you. Your brother is with God. God is love. In love there is no fear. Therefore your brother knows no fear right now. Any thing within you that sounds like it comes from a fearful place is not coming from God or your brother. Know that love is the highest of all understandings and that your brother knows it better than any of us. And if you would hear him he would tell you how much he loves you right now.

I'm sorry your brother died. I'm sure you miss him. You can contact me any time.

Life, I am so sorry to hear about your brother. That is a huge loss at such a young age.
In my honest opinion I believe your brother can hear you when you talk. I believe he knows you are sorry and knows you miss him. I talk to a special someone who is in heaven all the time, it brings me comfort. I just believe that he can hear me and I speak my mind.

I can't promise you that God will make it happen for certain, but I can tell you that if you believe your brother can hear you, he can...

God works in mysterious ways sometimes and I pray you find comfort in all this.

Bless your heart!

Will he let you talk directly to him? No. But, I think that if you pray to God and let him know what you want your brother to know, he will relay the message somehow. Personally, I hope that our loved ones are able to see us when the Lord thinks that it is appropriate. It is a comforting feeling to know that they may be able to be with us once in a while. Sorry to hear about your brother. I am sure he knows you love him and he forgives you for everything.

I think your brother hears you and knows you.

When people die and their souls go to be with God, their existence is one that we cannot even fathom. There is no time or space.
Here we are stuck in such a linear concept. Each second goes by and we get older and can't ever get that second back.

Your brother is somewhere that doesn't have time. He doesn't hear you with his ears like he did on earth. He just knows you. He knows your acts, your deeds, and your heart.

Talk to your brother. He'll hear you.

my nana died 6years ago and I felt so bad coz I thought that I hadn't really spent enough time with her or that I didn't know her too well.So I spent that Summer loooking at the starry night sky and I talked to her.I asked her to show me a sign that she could hear me so I asked for a shooting star and I saw many.It made me seriously believe in an afterlife and I honestly felt closer to her than when she was alive. I'm sorry to hear about your brother but I'm sure he knew before that you loved him.Try talking to the night sky. For me it's the closest to God I ever feel.

Your question and story broke my heart. I feel so badly for you and wish I could tell you that God--in His merciful way--would let you speak to your brother in a way that would satisfy you. But none of us have the intellect to grasp God's wisdom or why He does what He does. Through your faith in God, you must trust Him and know in your heart and soul that He knows what is best. I promise you that if you do pray, God will deliver your words to your brother. Keep praying. Keep asking God for a sign that your brother is with Jesus in paradise waiting for his sister to join him some day in the future.

I lost a loved one many years ago and was totally devastated--so much so that I turned my back on God and blamed Him for the loss. But eventually, my heart softened and my anger subsided. I prayed to God every day and asked Him for a sign, some divine message that would prove to me that my loved one was with Jesus and celebrating her eternal happiness. After several months of praying every day, I almost gave up. But then, one day I got my message and recognized that it was a message directly from God.

I will pray for you and ask God to give you peace in your heart and to ease your pain and suffering. May the good Lord bless you.

Your brother already knows what in your heart, do not worry. He knows you love him and that you are sorry. If it makes you feel better then send the message to God, I am sure your brother will get it.

Blessed Be
