Depends on the time of year. A Scarecrow is in the field all summer, popular for doing his job and out in the sunshine all day, so Summer is a good time to be a scarecrow.
Winter (namely Christmas and boxing day) Pickled onions are popular, so I'd ditch my scarecrow gear and get my onion layers on. you're popular, and everyone wants to eat you!
What a great hybrid life!
