Tuesday (Halloween) is my 21st birthday--if I go out the weekend before, do you think I could still get drinks 3 days shy of being legal? Should I wear my costume? :D I want to go out the night everyone else is partying, and the 28th would be the night.

Ouch, tough call.

It's between going to a bar or club and hoping they'll be cool, but possibly being turned down and having a crumby night as a result - or waiting until the night of your birthday so there won't be any questions asked, but having it somewhat suck because you can't stay out too late or get too drunk because it being during a weekday! :P

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but my choice would be to wait until Tuesday or celebrate Friday or Saturday instead. The bartenders won't turn you down because they're jerks, but because its a heavy fine for both them and their establishment - the only way they might bend the rules is if they were sure they wouldn't get caught. So, if you have good timing and a bit of charisma, good luck! :)

No because bars still will not or at least should not serve you. It doesn't matter if your birthday is today, they won't serve you until midnight tonight.

Bad part is there might ne a Narc sitting there watching them serve you. If you get carded, guess what...Busted! And turning 21 in 3 days will not be a good defense.

Even though you are 21, you will likely be carded once in awhile for a couple years.

Clubbing is very expensive, 25 entrance water 8 drink 40, table chairs bottle service 350 up. Think one night of clubbing with 500 Plus the room, food, shows, etc. That does not include gambling. Figure 1,000 each a day if smart

Go out, throw up your heels and party hardy!! It is your 21st, it only happens once!! 3 days or 3 years it is still illegal, you could get someone in deep trouble for serving u!!

**wear the costume!!**

No. You're still illegal if you try to get served in bars and restaurants. They don't fudge for the weekend. The best you can hope for is a private party where booze is served

Oh tough call... If you go to a bar where u know the staff are ok and wont make a fuss about the 3 days, then sure, go for it!

No, they will not give them to you. The whole point of going out on your 21st is to have the bartender ID you. Go to the casino too, blow some money!
