Ok for some reason WWE has began refering to their wrestlers as "superstars" to avoid saying "athletes". It has also began to break kayfabe by using wrestlers real names. (When the Boogeyman was realesed he was referred to as Marty Wright). It still presents itself as legit to marks but for some reason they are breaking kayfabe alot lately. What is up with that? Should they just go ahead and drop the gimmicks and start a shoot promotion like UFC?

This gimmicks should definitely end. Its almost impossible to get a decent heavyweight match on raw and smackdown these days. WWE is all about the cash these days. It makes me so mad. Take the Raw reunion for instance, Cena Vs Undertaker. My god what a match that should have been. But as usual the match ended up because of some interuption. Same thing happened on smackdown when Batista faced Lashley. Things have definitely got to change. Bring back great heavyweight matches. Vince McMahon has to go because he is killing the WWE.

Dude they have been called Superstars since the 1980s . Apparently you haven't been watching wrestling long. Also wrestling is now known as sports entertainment and they know the fans know it is fake now. This has been going on for years. Vince has even admitted in Interviews that what they do is make mini movies. By the way whoever said Vince has got to go is off there rocker. if it wasn't for Vince WWE wouldn't be around

Wrestler are called superstars but make no mistake they are athletes. Not just anyone can go out there and do what they do. Without the gimmicks the shows would not be as popular. Yes we all know that it is just pretend but so does everyone who watches soap operas. That is what wrestling is a soap opera with fighting mixed in.

No, they usually refer to all WWE Superstars to their real names off stage & it's no problem that they do that in order to let the public know what's going on with the company & their talent these days.

They're superstars, right? Well, WWE is entitled to hold that sense of dignity in their atheletes, and they believe that their business is so important that the workers can't be referred to such barbarism, yet they promote being a savage all the time. It's messed up.
