Yes - & it can be very uncomfortable. I didn't want to hurt anybody, or upset them - but I just didn't care about this boy the way he felt towards me. He did everything - brought me flowers, bought me jewelry (which I did NOT accept), wrote me love notes & would have bought my lunch at school every day if I'd let him, etc - but I wouldn't let him & I didn't care for him in a romantic sense. Finally, I had to tell him straight up & to his face that I wasn't interested & just never would be. He was incredibly hurt, got tears in his eyes & then got mad at me! He cursed me, called me horrible names & proceeded to talk about me at school the rest of the year. Sheesh - what a load of crap to have to deal with. I was only 14 at the time & he was 17. I was so glad when he left school I can't even tell you how great my relief was! My advice, cut it off before it goes too far. Be firm, be decisive,
make your point & drive it home hard if you have to - but see to it that they leave you alone!!!

Yes. I work as a barmais and all of the team have at least one person who thinks they're desperately in love with us. It's creepy. How can you feel that strongly for someone who is never more than professionaly polite?

Yes, the b1tch was jealous and wrecked my relationship with my girlfriend by talking crap, on the other hand my girlfriend mustn't have cared for me that much otherwise she wouldn't have taken that lying b1tches word over mine.
(I'm totally over it, not at all bitter and I made mistakes that I don't want to blame myself for so that's why I've answered your question with such 'passion')

Of course. Very inconvenient. But nothing to the agony of loving someone who doesn't love you back...
