Jenna is my best friend in the whole world. ive known her since forever, and she is about to start dating one of my guy friends, and im ok with it. well recently, this really hot guy came to our church, and Jenna was like, "he is so hot, i have to go talk to him." but she didnt. well the next week, there was a party, and Jenna was going to be there, but i really didnt feel like going. i did anyway. when i got there, Jenna was like, " you know that hot guy from church last week? well he wants your number." so she gave it to him, and he came up to me later, and we started talking and stuff. so i started messing with his phone, and i saw my name already there. when i checked if he had the right #, i realized Jenna had given him the wrong one, obviously cause she was jealous. so i gave him the right one, and later Jenna called me asking me for his number. i didnt want to give it to her, cause i knew she liked him, so i made an excuse. now she doesnt want to talk to me, so what should i do

Sounds like you guys are about to start a war over this guy. If you are best friends you need to talk about him together honestly. If you both like him and can't agree to be okay with one of you dating him than you should both swear him off altogether. Otherwise this battle could get pretty nasty and you could both end up scaring him away and not have each other any longer. You both need to figure out what is more important to you, a hot guy or a best friend?

I think you and her should work out a schedule and share him. She's already seeing someone else, so she doesn't want something exclusive anyway. In time, he'll make up his own mind, after he gets to know the two of you better. But in the mean time, all the games playing trying to get him will just ruin your friendship if you keep up the way you are.
