I've seen lightning in the winter. It's not as frequent as the rest of the year but it does happen. It's kinda spooky.

Brandy is right, there is lightening during the winter season, however not as often as in other seasons. I to am in Ontario, Canada and have seen it lots of times. Because the humidity is lower during the winter you don't see it as often as you do in the summer. Check out www.theweathernetwork.ca for more information on lightening.

There is at times.

A little known fact. Lightening has one big benefit. Salt is in all soil and rises to the surface in dry spells. Lightening drives the salt deeper into the ground.

There is! I've seen it twice during a snow storm. Once in northern Minnesota and once in central Wisconsin. It was awesome!

Have seen it in Winter-----incredible visual against a blanket of snow.
