Almonds are good for you because they are a good source of protein and have natural fats. They ARE high in fat, but a lot of it is good fat like polyunsaturated, which will help reduce saturated fat in your body.

Almonds tend to have 7 calories each, which is a bit high, but they aren't bad for you unless eaten in execcesive amounts.

Almonds are rich in "REAL FOOD" content , rich in energy and recent studies have shown that they can actually avoid heart-attacks and CVA. Almond oil lowers triglicerides in your arteries and veins. The benefit you get from almonds greatly exceeds the "bad" from calorie content. The only way not to get calories is not to eat at all! Get your calories from almonds.
